GOSTO and Nana Adjoa release their new single 'The Kid’.
Roel (GOSTO) and Nana have known each other for more than 10 years, as they came from the same musical breeding ground in Amsterdam. After closely following each others music for many years as friends, this is the first time they've collaborated. Still, writing and recording this song truly felt like old times. Naturally, the conversation landed on looking back at all those years that have flown by, as well as the persons we both used to be back then versus who we are now. ‘The Kid’ is about looking back at your younger self, being aware of the shifting of our temporal horizon, and how to view the time that’s left.

We tried to capture ‘youth’ in our song and we wanted to do the same for the video. We asked ‘Flip Stroom’ an extremely talented 15 year old youngster to visualise his thoughts on the subject of getting older. He created an excellent detailed and stunning ‘claymation'-video where the passing of time is beautifully exposed.
